Two senior procurement leaders from a leading Australian home-comfort solutions provider — including the company's National Supply Chain Manager — visited our Shunde facility this week to evaluate our water cooling and purification capabilities. Their parent group operates manufacturing facilities across Europe, Asia, and North America, with approximately 5,000 employees, annual turnover approaching €1 billion (2025), and 26 sales companies serving partners in 120 countries.

When a procurement team of that calibre flies across hemispheres to walk your production floor, the visit itself tells you something. Here is what they came to verify — and what they found.

Why a factory visit matters more than a spec sheet

For OEM and ODM partners, a factory visit is the single most reliable signal of whether a supplier can deliver consistent quality at scale. A product page can list certifications. A datasheet can quote cooling capacity. But only a walk through the production floor reveals whether the manufacturer controls its own components, how it validates each batch, and whether the operation can flex to meet custom requirements.

The Australian team had done their homework. They wanted to see three things: our production lines, our in-house quality testing, and the manufacturing depth behind the cooling components that go into every unit we ship.
